Centennial Ad Book

 

The year 2010 will become a milestone in Illinois History. Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated will celebrate 100 years of service to Illinois and Chicago on February 21, 2010. Nearly 100 years ago, the first black collegiate fraternity expanded to Chicago and has given birth to chapters throughout the state of Illinois and college campuses in and around the Land of Lincoln.

To commemorate our Centennial, we are preparing a souvenir advertisement journal to be distributed to all attendees at our Centennial Gala Event on Saturday August 21, 2010. The Centennial Gala will be held at the magnificent South Shore Cultural Center on Chicago’s Lakefront. Over 700 guests will be in attendance and this forum will provide an excellent opportunity for you to advertise your business or services to a targeted audience; who traditionally support and patronize friends of our community.

In case you are wondering, our attendees will include a wide demographic base including college students (18-25), graduate students (25-30) and Alumni (30-85) with their families and friends joining us in this celebration. In addition, fraternity officers, local government officials and national government leaders will also receive copies of the Souvenir Journal, along with their respective well wishes included within. As you can see, the opportunity to introduce your business or services to a vast audience is certainly appealing and we ask you to consider advertising with us.
